15-16 CMCSS Updates Welcome back to a new school year. Since you are were here last spring, many new and exciting resources have been added to help you enhance the instruction of students in the classroom. The updates are listed below.

Your password will be first initial, last initial, your MUNIS number, and the "#" symbol.
For the first time, all elementary schools in CMCSS will have full access to BrainPop and BrainPopJr. Teachers will need to make a teacher account. Students can use the generic student account for their school. Your technology integration coach or media specialist will have both the teacher code and generic student login.PLEASE DO NOT POST THESE ON THE INTERNET.
PebbleGo Next PebbleGo Next is the 3rd-5th Grade version of PebbleGo. It is an informational text source with interactive features. It is a growing resource adding new parts throughout the year. The same login that works for PebbleGo also works for PebbleGo Next. Your technology integration coach or media specialist will have the generic student login.PLEASE DO NOT POST THIS ON THE INTERNET.
Pilot Programs for 2015-2016EdulasticThis year our district is piloting 2 online programs. Edulastic is one where teachers can create online assessments with tech-enhanced questions. These question types are similar to the kind that will be seen on tests like PARC and TNReady.
Your teachers will sign in with their "first name.last name” and their password is capitalized first initial, capitalize last initial, and their MUNIS number.
(Ex. If Steve Rogers was a teacher in our district, his username would be steve.rogers and his password would be SR12345.)
The students will sign in with students will sign in with their lunch number as their username and their password is their first initial, last initial, and last 4 of their state-issued PIN. The PIN is a 9-digit number that can be found in the PowerTeacher website by clicking on the printer icon in the row of icons for the class. There is a report in the drop-down menu for the student PIN that shows all students names and full 9-digits of the PIN. Only the last 4 numbers are needed. * (Ex. If Peter Quill was student in our district, his username would be 654321, his lunch/PowerSchool number. His password would be PQ5309 because his whole PIN is 998675309.)
Britannica School Also being piloted this year is a subscription to Britannica School. It is an online encyclopedia. Content can be selected by grade level group. If you are in the one of the school district buildings, go to www.school.eb.com and there is no login required. If you are logging into Britannica School from outside the district, you will need a generic username and password from either your technology integration coach or media specialist. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS LOGIN ON THE INTERNET.
